Recycled tarp material
Farmers can “go green” with a vinyl tarp made from recycled advertising billboards. The billboard vinyl is being repurposed as the tarp material by Repurposed Materials, located in Denver, CO. The recycled tarps may be used for many purposes including covering hay, making windscreens, or covering a floor. The waterproof vinyl is heavy duty (20 millmeters thick and 13 oz./yard material). A new wire feed welder called the Handler 210MVP is available from Hobart Welding Products. The new welder features a multi-voltage plug (MVP) that allows use of either 115V or 230V power.
